I.  Study Our Bibles Every Day

We must know it:

To live it - 2 Tim. 2:15

To obey it - Heb. 5:9

To teach it - 1 Pet. 3:15

To improve, plan for spiritual growth - Acts 17:11

II.  Pray to God Everyday

Eph. 1:3; 1 Thes. 5:17

Study Jesus' prayers - when, how, why?

Be like the early church

Pray for opportunites to teach, to help

God will be blessed also

III.  Work in the Church Everyday

Mat. 16:18; Acts 2:27

Areas of Work:

1. Evangelism (Luke 19:47; Mark 16:15)
2. Edification (Heb. 3:13)
3. Benevolence (Gal. 6:10)

Practical suggestions: talk to a deacon, an elder, preacher, church secretary, handout flyers & tracts

IV.  Guard Your Influence

Mat. 5:16; 2 Cor. 3:2

Easy to damage, hard to repair

Ways we stumble:

1. In the way we dress
2. in our speech
3. in poor attendance (Heb. 10:25)
4. in lack of courtesy (Jude 22)
5. on social media

Jesus said, "Deny yourself and take up his cross daily" (Luke 9:23)
