Influx of pagan religions due to immigration

What is a pagan religion?

• Not of Abrahamic origins
• polytheistic
• worship idols
• focus on sexuality
• focus on earthly gain

Modern Pagan Religions:

1.  Hinduism

A. Basic Tenets

• Culture and religion interchangeable
• Human life has 4 stages; definite rites & rituals
• Traditional Hinduism -2 lifelong dharmas
• Domestic religion - 4 goals: Sensual pleasure; Wealth & prosperity; Laws of life; Reincarnation

B.  Dangers to Christians & America

• Yoga - 1st step to acceptance
• Kama Sutra - sexual pleasure
• Seeking of wealth at any cost to others
• Many among us already have idols (materialism, sports, etc.)

2.  Islam (submit to Allah)

A. Tenets

• Faith in one god - Allah - Jesus and Holy Spirit are not God!
• Prayer - 5 a day
• Charity - must give to the imam to distribute; also, taking from the infidels
• Fasting & Ramadan
• Pilgrimage - once in life to Mecca

B. Divisions

• Sunni - 85% - more moderate if such a thing
• Shiite - 12% - hate Sunnis - most radical - Iran
• Several other sects

F. Problems for Christians

• Rapid Growth
• 4 types of jihad - 1 is violent
• Law enslaves non-Muslims
• Popular among inmates - especially blacks
• Goal is to take over a country by conversion of the warrior class (criminals) & enslave non-believers

G. Is Islam Pagan?

• Many practices from pagan religion
• Mohammod & imams holy
• No physical idols, but Mohammod a sacred idol; Mecca & holy sites
